What is the Windows Ugly Sweater?

Microsoft started this tradition back in 2018 during the holiday season. Since then, the company has released a new sweater every December.

2018 had a Windows 95 theme and 2019 went for Windows XP. Now 2020 is changing things a little with a fetching MS Paint design.

You can buy this year's ugly sweater (her words, not ours) from the Xbox Gear Shop. This year, however, a portion of every sale of this sweater goes to Girls That Code, an organization dedicated to eradicating inequality for women in the computer science scene.

Don't worry if you swear at the fact that you missed the last two sweaters. Microsoft has offered every Windows Ugly Sweater in the Xbox Gear Shop as part of the new "Windows Holiday Soft-Wear" range.

However, if Windows isn't your thing, never fret. The trend of creating hideous Christmas attire has taken off and there are now online stores devoted to ugly sweaters.
