Apple may unveil third-generation AirPods and a high-fidelity tier of Apple Music on May 18, according to a new leak.
Various leaks claim that Apple will introduce the AirPods 3 and Apple Music HiFi on May 18. That would be earlier than expected.
Is Apple Preparing for the Third Generation AirPods?
The new rumor suggests that Apple may be releasing the third generation of AirPods and a new premium tier of Apple Music called HiFi. After YouTuber Luke Miani first revealed him, other leaks backed him up with their own leaks.
Miani tweeted "May 18" before reaching out to AppleTrack for more details. He claims Apple plans to announce the third generation AirPods and Apple Music HiFi via a press release.
This wouldn't be the first time Apple has released a new product with a press release instead of a press event. This happened for the iPhone SE 2020 and the AirPods Pro.
Following Miani's tweet and report, other leaks tweeted the same rumor. Internal Store tweeted a brief rundown of the alleged press release, and Sam Kohl tweeted Miani with open eyes, emoji.
To reiterate, these are just rumors. As usual, Apple will never confirm or deny leaks or rumors, and different sources have different levels of credibility.
Details about AirPods 3 and Apple Music HiFi
Apple Music HiFi has been rumored for some time. The rumors suggest that the new stage will offer higher quality hi-fi sound, similar to that of Tidal music.
The third generation AirPods are rumored to have a design update that is more similar to the AirPods Pro. EverythingApplePro showed the new design in a recent video. We were also able to see some of the pro features such as B. Active Noise Canceling, which is available for the third generation AirPods.
Apple could find itself with a hat-trick of release dates
When Apple launches the AirPods 3 and a hi-fi tier Apple Music on May 18, the company will face a hat-trick of releases. The Spring Loaded Event took place in April and the WWDC starts on June 7th.
Rumor: New MacBooks, like the iMac, will come in bright colors
According to Jon Prosser, the next few MacBooks may have the same bright colors as the 2021 iMacs.
