The way to Make Google Your Default Search Engine

Google is still the most effective service unless you have to be extra careful about the privacy of your searches. It's useful for remembering your previous searches for optimized performance, and it rarely lets you down, whether you're looking for adorable cat videos or treatments for the diseases that may be emerging right now. While Google Chrome and Firefox automatically set Google as the search engine by default, we know that annoying add-ons or malware have a knack for hijacking that search engine and offering some of their own (we see you, Babylon Search Toolbar). Fortunately, setting Google as the default search engine can be done in under a minute with minimal effort and quick access to your browser settings.
