The best 15-inch laptop: Dell XPS 15
Riley Young / Digital Trends
Why You Should Buy This: It's one of the smallest 15-inch laptops thanks to a few tiny bezels, but it also packs some extremely powerful components, including a fast CPU and GPU.
Who is it for: Anyone who needs a lot of strength on the go but doesn't want to take up too much space in a backpack.
What we thought of her Dell XPS 15::
There is no hand more stable than Dell in the 15-inch laptop market, and the XPS 15 is an example of the reputation 15-inch laptops have rightly earned for being reliable, powerful, and rugged. The latest XPS 15 features a 9th generation Intel Core i9 processor and an optional Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 graphics card. The XPS 15 is also one of the smallest 15-inch laptops available. It weighs just 4 pounds and measures a slim 17 millimeters at its thickest point.
However, this additional property has a few perks including the display. The XPS 15 has an Infinity Edge display, which means that the bezels are paper-thin. In our tests, it was incredibly vivid with great contrast and near-perfect color accuracy. You can choose between Full HD (1,920 x 1,080), 4K IPS (3,840 x 2,160) and 4K OLED displays, so that creatives can find the best mix of image quality and battery life for their needs.
Theis a powerful gaming rig too – if you don't mind turning down some settings. All in all, it's the best option if you're looking to buy a 15-inch laptop. Price starts at just $ 1,000.

Dan Baker / Digital Trends
Why You Should Buy This: It's a fast and furious gaming laptop that still makes you look like you're doing something.
Who is it for: Any gamer who wants a powerful gaming laptop but doesn't want to carry anything too bright.
What we thought of the Razer Blade 15 (2020)::
Finding a 15-inch gaming laptop is pretty easy – you'll find most of them here, to be honest. Some reach 14 inches, like the 2017 Razer Blade 14, while others venture into the 17-inch space and beyond, like the Razer Blade Pro. However, the best balance between performance and form factor can mostly be found in the 15-inch range. Unsurprisingly, this is where Razer placed its newest blade machine, the Razer Blade 15, which has been vastly improved for the 2020 version. It's relatively thin, looks amazing, and has a great figure.
Most importantly, it works very well. The laptop has an Intel Core processor of the 10th generation with up to 5.1 GHz in turbo mode, an excellent GeForce RTX 2080 Super with 8 GB VRAM and 16 GB RAM. A 512 GB SSD covers the storage. The Blade 15 also supports Chroma RGB lighting for any customization desired. Ports now include Thunderbolt 3, USB-C, USB-A, and HDMI. The laptop is ready for Wi-Fi 6. There's even improved cooling to keep the laptop running efficiently.
Your display options range from 240 Hz Full HD to 4K OLED (our Amazon selection includes the 4K OLED option) so you can choose the display performance that's perfect for your gaming needs. Theis a bit pricey but offers a stunning look that will fit in a boardroom as well as a LAN party.

Coupled with the support of a new, more colorful version of theWith the intuitive Surface Dial, the Surface Book 3 offers access to a unique ecosystem of peripherals and accessories. However, when it comes down to it, it's just a super fancy laptop with massive improvements over previous models.
Tech specs include a 10th generation quad-core Intel Core processor that's 30% faster than the Book 2 and a GeForce GTX 1650 for graphics. You can choose up to 32GB of RAM and up to 2TB SSD, though that quickly drives up costs. So be sure to choose the specs that you really need. The battery life for this 15-inch model is an impressive 17.5 hours. Ports include USB-C, USB-A, Surface Connect, and an SDXC card reader. If you can afford it, this is one of the best 15-inch laptops out there, but the high cost keeps it upof a doable option for everyone.

The best budget 15-inch laptop: Acer Chromebook Spin 15
Mark Coppock / Digital Trends
Why You Should Buy This: It's an efficient and economical Chromebook that gives you the flexibility of a 2-in-1 device with a full-size display.
Who is it for: Anyone who likes the simplicity and security of Chrome OS but wants to use Netflix with ease.
What we thought of her Acer Chromebook Spin 15:
If you are looking for portability and convenience in your 15-inch laptop, the Acer Chromebook Spin 15 should be on your radar. While it's just for opening a word processor or sending the occasional email, it starts at just $ 450 (and you might be able to find it for even less, depending on where you shop). It's the cheapest choice on your list and more than affordable for 15-inch laptops.
This Chromebook may not be for you if you are a Windows fanatic. It doesn't offer the same level of game support. The design is budget oriented so it doesn't offer casual games. When you choose the Chromebook, you don't expect the same bells and whistles that you get elsewhere.
Although this laptop's operating system is ChromeOS, you can still use Windows Online if necessary. Essentially, this laptop is limited to anything you can do in a web browser. You can access cloud storage, check your email, and sign in to sites like Slack, Google's G Suite, and use any number of other web applications.
A major positive feature is the laptop's 2-in-1 design. You can position your laptop in theater mode, which is ideal for watching your favorite Netflix shows, or you can always choose tent mode instead. Overall, the Acer Chromebook Spin 15 is a 15-inch laptop that costs a fraction of what you would spend on cutting-edge technology – even a new smartphone.
