Script Hook V and Native Trainer

If you want to download mods, download them first. Script Hook V makes the game's scripts available to others, so it's a prerequisite for some GTA V mods (often they'll bundle the scripthook .dll together just to be sure). This mod also gives you access to a feature-rich trainer who can turn you into a virtual god.

Complex control

Grand Theft Auto V may be the most successful video game of all time, but Epic Games' Fortnite is currently the biggest game in the world. Therefore it only makes sense to combine both! The Complex Control mod is a single player royale lite that spawns your character in a random location on the game's huge map. You win if you can stay in the last designated zone for four seconds. While you won't be able to play an actual Battle Royale match against anyone else, we're hoping for a full Battle Royale mode for the next Grand Theft Auto game because of the proof-of-concept offered in Complex Control.

Euphoria Ragdoll overhaul

Sometimes you don't need a fancy armor suit or a new mission to get the most out of Grand Theft Auto V. The mod Euphoria Ragdoll Overhaul improves the ragdoll physics in the game significantly, and the characters behave more realistically after they are damaged and before they collapse to the ground. Headshots instantly send a person to the ground like a rag doll, and civilians respond to nearby explosions by covering their heads.

Super mario plumber

"It's me, get out of the car before I shoot you!" Nobody should be surprised that Mario and his friends made their way to Grand Theft Auto V, but we're still impressed with what Super Mario Plumbers has to offer. With the classic sound effects from Super Mario Bros., you can explore Los Santos as the classic plumber with a mustache, beat up random pedestrians, speed through the streets and run into far more problems than the Mushroom Kingdom would ever allow. If you're tired of Mario, the mod also includes other favorites like Luigi, Wario, and – of course – Waluigi.

Iron Man Mark 50

If the rocket launchers, planes, and explosives already available in Grand Theft Auto V are not enough for you, then consider installing Iron Man Mark 50. Based on the suit Tony Stark wears in Avengers: Infinity War, it features enormous wings on the back and turns you into a barrel weapon that can float in mid-air as you launch missiles at oncoming traffic. We're not sure if you will survive the wrath of Thanos if you encounter him on the streets of Los Santos, but you can wreak some havoc upfront.

Since the release of the Chronicle movie, we've wanted to control objects with our minds, and the Psychokinectic mod will turn you into a terrifying being with telekinetic abilities. With the mod installed, you can freely float around the city, pick up dozen of cars or people and let them fly without worrying about whether someone survives or explodes. Dropping trucks in crowded parking lots can lead to large explosions. If you run out of vehicles to throw, you can simply throw fireballs at your "enemies" instead.

Marlowe Valley Safehouse

The Marlowe Valley Safehouse Mod turns Marlowe Valley into a luxurious safehouse that also happens to have an airport and an adjacent runway. With garages – including a tuning garage – and parking for more than 50 cars, Marlowe Valley is becoming a hideaway for high rollers. There is even a military bunker, an apartment and a garden area for parties. You need that Menyoo Mod to make it work.

World improvement

GTA V already looks phenomenal and even acts as a moving portrait when you're not around, but the World Improvement mod adds realism. It focuses on small details, like extra trees in places like Rockford Hills. New characters are also added, and A.I. Routines like police searches of the Paleto forest and car accidents in the Los Santos area. The best thing about this mod? It receives new updates to regularly introduce tiny but profound details so that Los Santos will continue to develop like a real city.

Super hot

The Superhot mod carries over the innovative time-stopping mechanics from Superhot to GTA V. When you stop moving, time stands still. While it might seem an odd choice for an open-world game like GTA V, the Superhot mod feels right at home in hand-to-hand combat. When you're back in the long game, you can turn off the mod with the push of a button and continue normal game.

GTA V has a rich, open-ended narrative that remains relatively linear throughout. The GTA V RPG mod adds a non-linear story and skill progression system that makes it feel closer to Fallout than Grand Theft Auto. To get started, you can choose between three character classes. As you progress through missions with the mod's quest system, use skill trees to level up your character and weapons. There are even dialog trees with NPCs and randomly generated loot and items.

The red house

If you find that the repetition of single player missions is becoming increasingly obsolete, the Red House mod has a wealth of new content to keep you from getting bored. The mod adds more than 20 missions to the game, including a new heist. Some missions even include NPC bodyguards to aid you in your endeavors. An update called "Blue House" added a number of stealth-oriented missions to the mod. All in all, the mission diversity is solid and well worth your time.

Open all interiors

Tired of not being able to enter the Sandy Shores Sheriff's Department or some other locked building? With the Open All Interiors mod, you have full access to the previously unapproved locations. The most notable thing is that the mod repopulates all of these rooms, even those that were removed before launch and should never be seen.

Map editor

Your wish is your command with this GTA V map editor. With a camera floating around, you can easily place cars, ramps and even animals all over Los Santos and then play with your experiments. It's a robust tool with a wide variety of options, but the best part is that it's intuitive and easy to use.

Endeavor menu

The Endeavor mod gives you a well-designed debug menu that allows you to summon any asset from the game whenever you want and make Los Santos your own personal playground. When you turn it on, you can easily materialize any vehicle, weapon, or item before your eyes. You can also increase your character to maximum stats and remove cops from the game. There are some crazy aspects to it too, like the ability to drive across water or the ability to shoot money bags out of your gun.

Pedestrian riot

GTA: San Andreas had a cheat that made pedestrians idiots. It was fun to see. Predictably, an intrepid modder went to great lengths to recreate that experience as a pedestrian riot. With the push of a button, you can drive anyone crazy and create chaos anywhere. The mod also gives them guns so be careful!

Field of view mod

For the first time in this series, GTA V offers a first-person mode. Rockstar was far from getting to work and went to great lengths to make it work just like a true first person shooter. However, one thing they overlooked is the dynamic adjustment of the field of view. The standard field of view is a bit narrow, which makes some players feel claustrophobic and others motion sick. This field of view mod allows you to change the field of view to the setting that is comfortable for you.

Bodyguard menu

Why go alone when you can be supported by a team? This bodyguard mod can spawn a wide variety of NPCs to follow you and help you with whatever you do. You can order them to place your bids or just stand around in a formation that looks tough. Up to seven bodyguards will follow you, but after that you can spawn even more. Creating an army soon after getting a 4-star police rating can be a literal riot.

Assault vehicles will of course spawn

Raids are a popular feature in GTA V's online mode. Many of them contain unique vehicles. But what if you are not interested in the online game and still want to use the vehicles? You can do just that with the Heist Vehicles Spawn Naturally mod. However, it doesn't give them to you from the start. They appear in specific areas that you can discover. If you just want to get in, you can view the list of the modder's locations.

Vehicle cannon 2.0

The world of Los Santos is crazy enough the way it is, but this mod turns it up to eleven. Vehicle Cannon 2.0 gives players a weapon that can be used to swap bullets for full-size vehicles. If that sounds crazy, it's because it is. Walking around with the Canon vehicle, however, is an absolute blast – just don't fire it in tight spaces.

Simple zombies

Turn the world of Los Santos into an apocalyptic wasteland with the Simple Zombies Mod. Instead of hundreds of pedestrians, the city is full of thousands of undead, brain-hungry monsters. The mod adds more than just zombies as players need to build shelters and recruit survivors to get out alive while managing their hunger, sleep, and health. As a complete survival mod, players looking for strategic gameplay should be happy with what Simple Zombies has to offer.

Intensity ENB

If you're nervous and can't wait for Cyberpunk 2077 to be released, install this Intensity ENB mod on your PC so you're ready. As you might have guessed from the name, this mod intensifies the background of GTA V, makes Los Santos shine brightly during the day and throws an otherworldly mood over it at night. The extreme environments may not be the same as cyberpunk, but they are fun to play around with until you can play the actual game.

Vice Cry: Remastered

Vice City was most players' introduction to the chaotic world of Grand Theft Auto, which is why so many consider it a classic. The game stood out in its field in 2006, but advances in video game technology left Vice Cry in the dust. Fortunately, this mod can help you rediscover the game in a whole new way.

Vice Cry: Remastered is a port of the old Vice Cry mod that modernizes the graphics of Vice City. You can explore the vice town that you remember while playing GTA V with improved graphics. In addition to the graphics enhancements, the mod features working traffic lights, custom populations, and custom scenarios.
