Reset your Windows 11 network settings through Windows Settings

Manage the network settings on your computer as you connect to the Internet. With the Windows operating system, you can change these settings as you wish. However, sometimes these changes can backfire. In such situations, as a last resort, you can reset the network settings through your Windows 11 settings.

If you reset your computer's network settings, Windows will delete all of your Wi-Fi connections and passwords along with any saved Ethernet connections. In addition, your network adapters and other critical network components will also be removed and reinstalled and returned to their original settings.

To get started, do the following:

  1. Start the Windows Settings. Go to Start menu Search bar, enter "settings" and choose the best match. You can also use the keyboard shortcut Win + me to do the same.

  2. Choose Network & Internet Option from the left.

  3. Now scroll down and click Advanced network settings to get to the network reset.

  4. Under the More attitudes Section in Advanced network settings, choose Network reset.

  5. Then click on Reset now.

You will then be asked if you want to continue with the network reset. Click on Yes sir, and resetting begins. After the reset is complete, you will be prompted to reboot. The restart is to ensure that all changes have been made successfully.

Save your pending work, close other applications, and restart your PC to complete the Windows 11 network settings reset.
