Lenovo Flex 5G Goes On Sale At the moment because the First 5G Laptop computer

The blockages have not contributed to the slow introduction of 5G, but new products that support faster wireless connectivity are constantly being introduced. It will be available on a number of machines in the coming months, but Lenovo has beaten everyone else with the Flex 5G available today – and this is also the first laptop to ship with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8cx chipset.

The Flex 5G is a Windows on ARM 2-in-1 device with 8 GB LPDDR4X-1866 RAM, 256 GB UFS 3.0 memory and a 14-inch full HD touch display (1,920 x 1,080) is equipped with 400 nit.

All of this fits in a package that is 0.58 inches thin and weighs just 2.9 pounds thanks to a mix of aluminum and lightweight magnesium.

Battery life should be a strength thanks to the energy-saving features of the Snapdragon 8cx, which uses 60% less energy than the chipset of the previous generation from Qualcomm, and a 60 watt-hour battery.

As a 2-in-1 device, the Flex 5G will also enjoy Dolby Atmos sound. Windows 10 Hello password without login is provided by an infrared camera that is under an inverted notch and face recognition. Connectivity includes two USB-C 3.2 Gen ports, an audio jack, and a nano SIM card slot.

Qualcomm's x55 5G modem supports the connectivity of the laptop using millimeter wave technology (mmWave), which allows the use of higher bandwidth frequencies. The x55 can also use the usual frequencies below 6 GHz and drop-down lists for multi-gigabit 4G LTE if 5G is not available. The Flex 5G uses a new patented antenna technology to fit into the thin housing and support both mmWave and Sub-6GHz.

The Flex 5G is currently available in the United States. The 5G connectivity is provided over the Verizon network and always promises connected speeds that are ten times faster than the 4G technology – in particular a download speed of up to 2 gigabits per second (Gbit / s). Later in 2020, the Flex 5G (also known as Yoga 5G in some markets) will be launched in the UK, Switzerland and China.

Initial configuration is available from Verizon for $ 1,399 or $ 58 per month using Verizon's interest-free device payment plan. A one-year Microsoft 365 Personal subscription is also included.
