How one can Shortly Discover Sure Folks’s Photographs on iPhone and Mac

If you want to see someone's photos on your iPhone or Mac, here's how to find all of their photos.

It often happens to most of us that your iPhone gallery is overflowing with thousands of images. Sometimes we want to look back and look for a specific person or image with that person in the midst of the crowd. Scrolling through all of the images is time consuming and quite frankly quite exhausting.

Fortunately, Apple has some great features that you can use to search for photos by people and location. Let's see how we can use the People and Places albums to find specific people.

Find someone who is using the People Album on iPhone or iPad

Your iPhone creates a thumbnail for each face it recognizes. You can scroll through the thumbnails to find someone, but that can be pretty messy and tiresome. Fortunately, there is a quick way to find a person in the People album. Here's how:

  1. By doing photos App, tap seek in the lower right corner.

  2. In the search bar, enter the name of the person you want to find.

  3. The corresponding People album will automatically appear in the drop-down list.

Note that you only get the seek Option for named personal albums. Thumbnails in the People Without Names album are not displayed during a search.

The same method can be used to find a specific person on your Mac. Follow these steps:

  1. Click on persons in the sidebar of your photos App.

  2. Enter the name of the person you are looking for in the search bar in the upper right corner to quickly find someone in your person album.

Find someone using the location on the iPhone or iPad

Suppose you were in a certain place with someone and took some pictures with them. You want to search for the person in your gallery again, but there is no named thumbnail for the person, so you cannot search by name in the People album.

Another method is to find them by location. Here's how:

  1. By doing photos App, tap seek in the lower right corner.

  2. In the search bar, enter the location of the place you went to. If the photos have embedded location information (GPS data), the location is displayed with the photos.

  3. Select the location and browse all the photos with a person in that particular location.

Another way to search by location is directly in the "Places" album. To do this, follow this method:

  1. Click on Albums and choose Puts.

  2. By default you will see a Map view open in front of you. Grouped images in a specific location are displayed on the map. Tap the place you want to search.

The People album and Places album make it easy to find a photo or person in your gallery.

If you have a named thumbnail of a specific person on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac, all you have to do is type their name in the search bar to see all of your photos of that person in your camera roll. If you don't have a named thumbnail for a person, you might still be able to find them by scrolling through all of the thumbnails in the People album.

However, you can alternatively use an image's location to search for them. Enter the location in the search bar or use the map to search for photos in a specific location.
