Another thing that can cause the bluetooth icon not to appear on the system tray is accidentally removing it, or in some cases, airplane mode is on. Here's how to show the bluetooth icon on the Windows 10 system tray

Choose More bluetooth options under Associated settings.
Activate Show the bluetooth icon in the notification area in the Bluetooth Settings dialog.
click Apply > Okay.
