The new 31.5-inch UltraSharp 32 HDR PremierColor display (UP3221Q) from Dell is designed for the creative and offers high color accuracy. It has more than 2,000 backlit mini LED dimming zones on the IPS panel to achieve deep blacks and bright white. The UltraSharp 32 HDR will be priced at $ 5,000 when it goes on sale on November 5th. It is aimed at the same creative audience that Apple is targeting with its ProDisplay XDR. Although both panels are similar in diagonal, the Apple monitor comes with a higher 6K resolution, while the UltraSharp comes with 4K.
The 4K 60 Hz panel from Dell covers 99.8% of the wide DCI-P3 color space, can achieve a brightness of 1,000 nits and supports the VESA DisplayHDR 1000 specification with excellent HDR quality. With Thunderbolt 3 connectivity, you can easily chain two of these panels together for an even larger, more immersive digital canvas. If you need additional color accuracy, you can rely on the integrated Calman Powered Colorimeter for on-demand calibration.
The best news? Unlike the Apple display, you don't have to pay a $ 999 premium to get the stand for the UltraSharp.
