Apple is adding more than 30 games to the Apple Arcade catalog.

Apple's subscription-based game service Apple Arcade is expanding its catalog. The expansion comes in the form of two new categories called Timeless Classics and App Store Greats, with more than 30 new titles also being added to the service.

Two new categories have been added to Apple Arcade

In a press release on April 2, 2021 in the Apple Newsroom, Apple announced that two brand new categories had been added to the Apple Arcade service.

The first, called Timeless Classics, contains classics that everyone has played at some point. Apple Arcade subscribers can now enjoy games from "typical genres with titles like Good Sudoku by Zach Gage, Chess – Play & Learn and Backgammon". All of these games can be accessed by iPhone and iPad users.

App Store Greats allows users to play the "Best Award Winning Games" from the App Store that have been pushed to Apple Arcade. These include very popular titles like Fruit Ninja Classic, Threes !, and Mini Metro. In addition, all titles under App Store Greats are completely "ad-free and fully unlocked". In essence, users don't have to pay anything extra to access the premium features of the above games.
