A number of Microsoft Providers Are At present Down Globally

Currently, several Microsoft services for users around the world are down or very unreliable.

The issues that started around 3:30 p.m. PT impacted Microsoft 365 and therefore affect products like Office.com, Outlook.com, Teams, OneDrive, and most of the other Microsoft services that run on the Cloud based functioning.

According to Downdetector, the United States, Japan and parts of Australia, New Zealand and South America are affected by the outage.

The company confirmed the problem in a tweet, saying it was working to see the full impact.

We are investigating an issue involving access to multiple Microsoft 365 services. We are working to determine the full impact and will provide more information shortly.

In a later tweet, Microsoft said it believed it “identified a recent change that appears to be causing the problem. We're rolling back the change to reduce the impact. "

After performing the supposed fix, it was later added: "We are not seeing an increase in successful connections after reversing a recent change. We are working on evaluating additional mitigation solutions while we investigate the root cause. Please visit status.office .com for more information on this issue. "
