The game bar is software that comes with Windows 10 to support and improve your video game experience. The first purpose was to take screenshots and videos, but Microsoft has continued to expand its functionality through updates.
Now the game bar can do a lot more and is not just limited to video games. We'll show you some new ways to use the Windows 10 game bar.
How to activate and activate the game bar
Before you can use the game bar, you must first activate it.

If you want to display this information in a more detailed format without additional tools, open the Task Manager with Ctrl + Shift + Esc and go to performance Tab.
2. Chat with friends
You can use the game bar to chat with your friends on Xbox Social.
This will show every friend you have on your Xbox account. This means that you can chat with those on PC and Xbox One.

3. Check the system volume
You can use the audio control panel to control the various volume mixes of the open applications using the sliders.
You can control the total volume of the system or a single application. This is useful if, for example, you want to play music at a low level during a game. Alternatively, you can click on the application Speaker icon to mute it completely.
You can switch between speaker outputs (e.g. between speakers and headphones) using the drop-down menu above.
Go to voice On the tab you can choose which device you want to use for voice input.
4. Take screenshots and record videos
One of the main utilities on the game bar is the capture window. This way you can not only take screenshots, but also record everything that is on your screen.
Press the Camera icon to take a screenshot or press the Recording icon to start recording videos saved as MP4.
If you have recorded a video, you can click on Show all recordings to see them all in one place.

5. Share on social media
You can share your recordings with friends on social media using the game bar integrations. Hop in Settings> Accounts and here you can link your Twitter account. click log in and follow the instructions. Once you have registered, you should no longer have to do this in the future.
