The easiest way to find your IP address on Windows 10 is to start the Settings app:

  1. Go to Start> Settings.
  2. Click on Network and internet.
  3. In the left pane, choose one of the two options Wireless Internet access or Ethernet, depending on what type of connection you are using.
  4. Click your network or connection name.
  5. Scroll down to properties.
  6. Find the IPv4 address Listing.
  7. The number shown is your IP address.

How to check your IP address using Command Prompt

If you want to know how to find the IP address on Windows 10 using Command Prompt, instead follow the instructions below:

  1. click on Start menu.
  2. Art cmd and click command prompt.
  3. Art ipconfig and press Enter.
  4. Search either IPv4 address for automatic configuration (Ethernet) or IPv4 address (Wireless Internet access).
  5. The number shown is your IP address.
