AMD has beaten rivals Nvidia and Intel by 7 nm and is pushing for an even smaller knot when it launches its unannounced Ryzen 6000 chipset. The company's leaked product roadmap indicates that AMD's next-generation Ryzen 5000 APU, code-named Cezanne, will be launched in 2021. In the meantime, the Ryzen 6000 APU, code-named Rembrandt, will arrive in 2022 with a 6 nm node.
Rembrandt will be part of AMD's 6th generation Ryzen product line and will succeed Cezanne, which is expected to arrive in 2021. If the leak posted by Twitter user @Komachi is correct, there will be a number of notable upgrades at Rembrandt, including that from AMD. Go into a smaller 6nm manufacturing process. This APU is likely to be manufactured by TSMC with a new Zen 3 Plus processor architecture that offers better energy efficiency and a higher performance increase over the standard Zen 3 platform.
Because Rembrandt is an APU, the graphics side will use AMD's new RDNA 2 graphics architecture. RDNA 2 not only supports ray tracing, but is also said to deliver a large graphics boost. AMD is said to skip RDNA 1 as it is upgraded from Vega cores directly to the RDNA 2 graphics architecture on Rembrandt.
Additional functions include support for DDR5 memory, LPDDR5, USB 4.0 and PCIe 4.0. Unfortunately, AMD will give up its AM4 socket at the Ryzen 6000 debut and switch to the newer AM5 platform. According to the product roadmap, AMD will launch its Ryzen 4000-based APU, also known as Renoir, for desktops in June. After Renoir, AMD will work on its Cezanne APU, which has a Zen 3 processor architecture and a Vega graphics core. Cezanne is divided into a more powerful product family that includes Cezanne-H branding and a low-power chip designated by Cezanne-U. As with previous members of the Ryzen family, the Cezanne range is expected to support the AM4 socket, making upgrades easier.
On the CPU side, we can expect significant increases in performance, although no details have been reported to Wccftech. The graphics of this APU is controlled by an expanded Vega GPU. Previous leaks suggested that Cezanne would be paired with RDNA 2 graphics, but Wccftech is now speculating that the APU will continue to use the older Vega cores instead, with RDNA 2 support pointing to systems with discrete graphics in 2021 becomes.

For systems with low power consumption, AMD should prepare its Van Gogh chipset so that it can compete with the processors of the Y series from Intel. Van Gogh is described as a customized system on a chip (SoC) that consists of Zen 2 processor cores and RDNA 2 graphics with a maximum TDP of 9 watts. This low-power SoC is expected to hit the market sometime in 2021.
