6 Fixes for the Defective {Hardware} Corrupted Web page Cease Code in Home windows 10

A blue screen of death, known technically as Stop erroris never a happy experience for Windows users. Your computer crashes without warning and loses your work or other data. The defective hardware damaged page Error is one such critical error that can occur without warning.

How to permanently fix the broken hardware-damaged page stop code.

What is the faulty hardware-damaged page stop code error?

The faulty page fault with damaged hardware (Windows stop code 0x0000012B) covers various hardware problems, but relates to a single bit error. A single bit error occurs when a single bit (a tiny piece of data) is changed incorrectly during data transfer. Although it may sound like a tiny problem, the result can cause your system hardware to malfunction, causing the faulty hardware to corrupt the page stop code.

There is good news and bad news.

The good news is that there are several fixes available for the broken hardware-damaged page stop code. The bad news is that Windows stop code 0x0000012B can indicate that your system hardware is failing. In particular, the stop code is often associated with a faulty RAM.

With these fixes, you can check your RAM and other hardware problems for the bad, hardware-damaged page stop code.

1. Restart your computer

If you haven't already, restart your computer. Although it is annoying to hear that "Have you tried turning it off and then on again?", You are actually solving a lot of problems. Restart your computer before going through the advanced fixes and see if that solves the problem.

2. Reinsert your hardware

Since the faulty page fault of the damaged hardware relates to your system hardware, your system hardware is often fixed. If you accidentally knock or bump your system, you can get your RAM or graphics card out of position.

You have to go into the housing of your PC or laptop to be able to use the hardware again. Please note that this will invalidate the manufacturer's warranty in certain cases. So be careful.

3. Run SFC

The faulty, hardware-damaged page stop code can indicate problems with your system files. Windows System File Checker (SFC) is an integrated Windows system tool that you can use to check your Windows installation files for errors.

Before you run the SFC command, you must check that it is fully functional. You don't want SFC to miss an error because it didn't work properly at first. For this we use DISM, the Deployment Image Servicing and Management Tool.

Like SFC, DISM is an integrated Windows utility with a variety of functions. In this case the command DISM Restorehealth

  2. Type the following command and press Enter: DISM / online / cleanup-image / restorehealth
  3. Wait for the command to complete. The process can take up to 20 minutes depending on the system status. The process seems to get stuck at certain times, but wait for it to finish.
  4. When the process is complete, type sfc / scannow and press Enter.

Like SFC, CHKDSK is a Windows tool that you can use to check your Windows 10 file system. Wondering what is the difference between CHKDSK and SFC? CHKDSK checks your entire drive for errors, while SFC specifically checks Windows system files.

to find the problem and repair your machine.

  1. Art command prompt Right-click on the best match in the search bar of your start menu and select it Execute as administrator. (Alternatively, press Windows key + X., then choose Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.)
  2. Next, enter chkdsk / r and press Enter. The command searches your system for errors and fixes any problems along the way.

5. Check your drivers

Sometimes a new Windows drive interferes with your hardware and causes an error. Windows 10 now processes most driver updates, making faulty drivers less of a problem. But that doesn't mean that a shady driver can't come and wreak havoc.

For a list of recent Windows driver updates, go to the Update and Security Settings page.

Press Windows Key + I. To open the settings window, choose Update & security> View update history. You can find driver updates here.

Now enter Device manager Select the best match in the search bar of the start menu. Go through the list and look for an error symbol. If nothing is there, your driver status is probably not the cause of the problem.

With several tools, you can update all system drivers at the same time. The benefits of these tools are controversial, especially as many are trying to force you to pay for freely available drivers. If you want to know more, check out the best free tools to fix Windows 10 issues

You start MemTest86 from a USB flash drive (or a bootable disc) and have it check the RAM of your system. A MemTest86 takes a while. For a full evaluation of your RAM, you should do at least two runs (that's two full cycles). Because a single pass can take hours, the analysis process can take a while. However, MemTest86 uncovers all serious RAM problems during the process, so it's worth the wait.

Go to the MemTest86 download page and download it Image for creating a bootable CD (ISO format). Next you need to write the MemTest86-ISO to a USB flash drive. Check out this list of free tools to create a bootable USB flash drive
